The underwater inspection skill is a much sought-after skill around the world, and TWI's training will enable you to gain the skills and qualifications you need to participate in similar employment opportunities. We offer four different levels of underwater inspection training, using commercial diving skills and knowledge of this specialized area. Our courses are recognized and respected by the industry.
CSWIP 3.3U ROV Inspector course is available for manned submersible or ROV pilots/observers, NDT inspection divers, surface NDT practitioners or those with an engineering/science qualification.
By the end of the course, the candidate will be able to explain theoretical principles relating to remotely applied subsea inspection methods, have a basic understanding of quality assurance methods, be competent to co-ordinate data retrieved from ROVs, gain eligibility to sit the CSWIP 3.3U examination.
CSWIP 3.4U Underwater Inspection Controller course is suitable for holders of a qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject, CSWIP 3.3U ROV inspectors, CSWIP 3.1U or 3.2U diver inspectors and surface NDT practitioners.
By the end of the course, the candidate will be competent to plan and coordinate sub-sea inspection programmes, be proficient in recording and processing data produced by subsea inspection campaigns, and gain eligibility to sit the CSWIP 3.4U examination.
