On Thursday 30th June 2022, TWI Technology (SEAsia) Sdn Bhd and Nitkertz (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration on the delivery of training and certification at TWI Malaysia.
The MoU, which was signed by the General Manager, Navanethan Narayanasamy, and Deputy Regional Manager of TWI Malaysia, Dietmar Kok, marks the start of a collaboration between both organizations to deliver CSWIP certification for training courses ranging from CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector, CSWIP Welding Inspector, CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector, and BGAS-CSWIP Painting Inspection.
The event was attended by Mohd Ghazale Bin Hashim, Director of TWI; Dato’ Tengku Ainura Binti Dato’ Tengku Feissal, Business Development Manager; Nik Jasmeen Zahraa, Business Development Executive; Mohd Khairuddin Bin Abd Majid, Liaison Officer, and Nor Kamarul Affendi, Senior Manager of Nitkertz.
The Skills Leader Program (Program Peneraju Skil) is a collaboration between Nitkertz and TWI. The programme focuses on vocational and technical skills education that is in agreement with industry demands through nationally and internationally recognized certifications.
The program focuses on high-skill and industry-recognized certification, especially for skilled or non-employed skilled workers (including retrenched individuals) with at least three years of work experience and aged 45 years and below.
