TWI Fellow Joins Polymer Engineering Event Panel Discussion

TWI Technology Fellow, Alan Taylor joined a panel discussion at the AMI’s, ‘Polymer Engineering for Energy’ event during 5-6 December in London.

The event was designed to help attendees learn about the latest advances in polymeric materials for industry, debate the challenges around energy transition and the move towards renewables, identify opportunities for composites and how material developments optimise and extend performance, and network with industry experts.

Alan joined the panel discussion on 6 December dedicated to the topic of, ‘The Future for Fluoroelastomers: Addressing the Potential PFAS Restrictions.’ He was joined by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ Segment Director for Energy, James Simpson, AGC Chemicals’ Senior Advocacy and Regulatory Manager, Ronald Bock, and James Walker’s Material Engineering Group Manager, Andrew Douglas. The discussion was moderated by Alpine Polytech CEO, Neil Mendes.
